Before you start with Proteryx.

Before you use Proteryx for live futures execution, make sure your account, broker access, and trading plan are ready. This step matters because automated orders can move fast once alerts and account routes are active.

• You have access to the email address you want to use for Proteryx.
• You know which futures broker or platform connection you want to use first.
• You know which futures account should receive your first test order.
• You know the contract you plan to test, such as MNQ, MES, NQ, or ES.
• You are ready to test with small size before using copy trading or multiple accounts.

Create your Proteryx account.

First, create your Proteryx account with the email address you want tied to your subscription and platform access. After that, sign in and confirm that you can reach the main dashboard.

1. Go to the Proteryx app.Open the Proteryx app from the website or use the app button on this page.
2. Enter your email address.Use an email you check often because login, billing, and support messages may go there.
3. Complete your account access step.Follow the sign-in or account creation flow shown in the app.
4. Confirm that your dashboard opens.Once inside, check that your workspace loads before moving to broker setup.

Next, review the Proteryx dashboard. The dashboard is where you prepare your account connection, review trading access, and move toward your first workflow. Also, it gives you a place to check whether the platform is ready before you send any alert or order.

Connect your first Proteryx trading workflow.

After your dashboard works, connect one simple workflow first. For most traders, that means connecting Tradovate, preparing TradingView alerts, or reviewing the Trade Desk before any live order is sent.

1. Connect your broker workflow.Start with one broker connection and one account. Then, confirm that the correct account appears.
2. Check the trading symbol.Use the correct futures symbol and contract. If you are unsure, review the futures symbols guide before sending an order.
3. Add order protection.Use bracket orders, take profit, stop loss, or trailing stop settings when your strategy needs order protection.
4. Test one route first.Before you add copy trading, test one account and one order route so you can verify the workflow.

Run a safe first Proteryx test.

Finally, run a small first test. The goal is to confirm that your account route, contract, order side, quantity, and protection settings behave as expected. Because futures trading carries risk, test in the smallest practical way before you scale.

• Check that the order is going to the correct account before you submit or trigger anything.
• Confirm the contract symbol and contract month before you send a futures order.
• Use small size for the first test, especially if you plan to use multiple accounts later.
• Check your take profit, stop loss, and trailing stop settings before the order goes live.
• Keep your broker platform open so you can monitor the result outside Proteryx as well.
